Electro-Diagnostic Studies (EMG, NCV)

Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction study (NCS) tests analyze electrical activity in the nerves and muscles. They are useful diagnostic tools for determining if there is a pinched nerve, which nerve(s) are pinched and where, and/or if there is a generalized problem with the nerves or muscles.
