Our Approach

Neuropsychological testing is a specialized form of assessment that allows providers an in-depth look at the brain functioning of their patients beyond what can be offered by neurological examinations and brain imaging studies. Neuropsychological testing examines a range of cognitive functions and how they contribute to functional impairment in the patient’s day-to-day life.

Trustworthy Evaluations

Neuropsychological evaluations can offer opinions regarding treatment recommendations, work capacity, the permanency of alleged deficits, as well as the causal relationship between an alleged injury and reported cognitive changes. These evaluations can take anywhere from 4 to 8 hours and involve tasks measuring intelligence, memory, attention, executive functions, motor skills, sensory perception, visual processing, social cognition, emotional functions, and language.

Accurate Diagnosis

Neuropsychological testing is often an integral part of the diagnostic and treatment process for various neurological and neurocognitive issues including (but not limited to): Concussions/TBIs, TIAs/CVAs, neurotoxicity, hypoxia/ischemia, neurodegeneration, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, learning disorders, autism, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
